Basic I is an introduction to handgun shooting in a defensive context. This course exceeds Florida requirements for firearms safety class and a certificate obtained during this course can be used to apply for a CCW License. There will be at least one classes scheduled per month.

This is an introduction to the new shooter designed to familiarize the student with the use of a handgun, carry methods, and legal issues regarding self defense. This course includes scenario based education, safely handling a pistol, selection of ammunition, basic operation, live fire on a range, and much more. The price includes lunch and a Talon Range T-shirt. This is an all day class hosted at the Talon Range of Dothan and taught by trained law enforcement professionals. This course includes handgun use, ammunition for our student guns and a chance to shoot our rental guns at the end of the course.

The Talon Protector Series is the most comprehensive Tactical Carbine specific course that Talon offers. Consisting of three separate 3-day courses that will give the student 72 hours of informative and challenging instruction. Each class will build on the class before it and will end with a proficiency test.
